Rachael Sanders joined the iSchool last month as office manager for Academic Affairs. In her new position, she will work closely with faculty, staff, and university administration to ensure accurate scheduling and efficient course management for the iSchool's undergraduate programs.
During her ten years at the University of Illinois, Sanders has held positions across campus, most recently serving as office manager for the Undergraduate Student Affairs Office within the College of Applied Health Sciences (AHS). There, she was the main coordinator for the AHS Convocation, processed changes to students' registration, and provided administrative support for the Undergraduate Student Affairs Office.
"It was not the iSchool itself that compelled me to accept my new position, it was the staff who interviewed me. They were so kind, approachable, and had a terrific sense of humor. I thought that I'd like to work with such a great group of people," she said. "Now that I have been here a few weeks, I know that I was right—it is wonderful to be a part of the iSchool."
In her free time, Sanders spends time with her family and enjoys board games, good food, live music, and great conversations.
